• Oliwa

Olive, a quiet, charming district of Gdansk, cuddled up in Forestry picturesque Tricity Landscape Park backwoods. Visitors can admire the alpine hornbeam alley, conservatory, grotto and cascade. Palm House in the park of Adam Mickiewicz was built in the second half of the eighteenth century. It is located in the Adam Mickiewicz park, south-east of the palace abbey. It was rebuilt in the nineteenth century.
 Currently, palm house consists of a one-story, brick building with a rectangular projection (from the south having a large room with high glass windows) and the western part of contemporary, cylindrical form created in 1954, acted as the Palm House conservatory and was an important part of the eighteenth-century compositions the park.
